Toolshed Workshop is an easy-to-play mouse clicking game for young kids / preschoolers where you have to tidy up a cluttered work station by placing individual handyman tools onto specific outlines of missing tools on a workshop wall and shelving unit. Lulek, your curious, freckle-faced new buddy, has discovered his Grandpa’s collection of work tools randomly scattered all over his toolshed worktop. Help Lulek return each of the tools to its correct place by matching it up with its respective silhouette-like patterns on the wall or shelves.
This fun, interactive, drag-and-drop, item recognition activity could be used to help to exercise a child’s awareness of the differing shapes of helpful objects, and help to develop good hand-eye co-ordination as the player must meticulously position each tool into the correct outline. How to Play: At the start of the game, Lulek’s Grandpa’s tools are spread randomly around a cluttered work bench. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click and drag each tool into its corresponding outline on the wall above the work station. Once you have positioned a tool where you think it should go, Left Click again to release it. If you are correct, the tool snaps into place on the shelf or wall. If you make a wrong move, the object falls back down onto the bench. Keep going until you have successfully hung up all of the various tools!
(Note: In real life, some of the tools in this game are very sharp and dangerous – so make sure that you leave the real-life tool tidying of the toolshed to grown ups! Remind Dad or Grandpa to not leave it all to poor Mum or Grandma to do as usual!)
